In this way, the users and institutions taking part in Eduroam have access to the Internet via the wireless networks of the other participating institutions.A user's connection to the wireless network of the institution they are visiting (provided this institution is participating in Eduroam) resembles the connection to the wireless network of the user's instruction of origin: the user name and password needed for authentication are the same ones used at the institution of origin and the only difference might be the method of access to the net. The CTTC is taking part in the Eduroam project, giving access to its own users and users from other institutions taking part in Eduroam through co-ordination with CESCA (Supercomputing Centre of Catalonia), which makes the technical and administrative link between the different institutions taking part in the Eduroam project.
